It is a step-by-step instruction which tells the computer what to do. We are surrounded by a computer program and every digital screen is controlled by the computer program. For example, when you type a message on your smartphone when you play a game on your computer when you call a friend from your smart mobile phone when you press the remote of your smart TV, even dishwasher and washing machine cycles are the programming instructions. So where I can write such instructions to build a program? There are hundreds of programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, C++, C# (C Sharp), SQL, MATLAB, and many more. According to worldwide jobs on Indeed.com, Python was the top programming language recruiters were posting job listings in the year 2020.
To say the least, Intel, IBM, NASA, Pixar, JP Morgan Chase, and of course Google uses Python in their daily needs of research and development. Google’s YouTube is largely written in Python so are Reddit, Pinterest, Instagram, and many Fortune 500 companies. But, Python is not becoming the first choice because these giants are utilizing it, but because it is an easy-to-use programming language. It is like learning words to write a sentence and then a storybook as Python provides a rich library of functions (like words) that are available to programmers (like writers) to build something unimaginable (like creating a Novel).
This course is suggested for 7th - 12th grade students. There is no age limit to learning. Python is very applied and so it is beneficial for all.
